Back Together Again !!!!!!!!!

I hope am not the only one excited that THE GAME is coming back for another season. I was very late to find out about this show, i only found out about it when i was watching THE MONIQUE SHOW and the cast of "The Game" were on the show. I immediately went to find the show and i watched all the past season. I suddenly found my self addicted and attached to the show, screaming at my screen and sometimes shedding a little tear as well.


so its safe to say They are BACK !!!!!!! with another season and am so so so excited. It looks as if CBS Studios and BET have reached a licensing deal, which will start production on a new season of The Game.

The cable network is expected to announce at its upfront presentation this month that it is resurrecting the CW sitcom with original episodes.

The majority of the cast of “The Game,” created by Mara Brock Akil, are expected to return.

Because the options on the actors had expired following the show’s cancellation in May, BET had to negotiate new deals with them.

The network is expected to take lead in the production of the new episodes, with CBS Studios, which was behind “Game” when it was on CW, licensing the show to BET".

Jill Scott Is 'Hurt' By Black Men Dating White Women

This story has been buzzing the net now for a few days i guess am a bit late blogging about this, but i just had to comment and share my own view on this whole topic. i must say i love Jill Scott adn i agree with the article she wrote for Essence magazine. Jill Scott, who was recently left to be a single mother after having a child with a man she's been with for years, has recently opened up about the idea of interracial relationships and even penned this article describing her personal experience with the topic, Here is the article.


My new friend is handsome, African-American, intelligent and seemingly wealthy. He is an athlete, loves his momma, and is happily married to a White woman. I admit when I saw his wedding ring, I privately hoped. But something in me just knew he didn’t marry a sister. Although my guess hit the mark, when my friend told me his wife was indeed Caucasian, I felt my spirit…wince. I didn’t immediately understand it. My face read happy for you. My body showed no reaction to my inner pinch, but the sting was there, quiet like a mosquito under a summer dress.

Was I jealous? Did the reality of his relationship somehow diminish his soul’s credibility? The answer is not simple. One could easily dispel the wince as racist or separatist, but that’s not how I was brought up. I was reared in a Jehovah’s Witness household. I was taught that every man should be judged by his deeds and not his color, and I firmly stand where my grandmother left me. African people worldwide are known to be welcoming and open-minded. We share our culture sometimes to our own peril and most of us love the very notion of love. My position is that for women of color, this very common “wince” has solely to do with the African story in America.

When our people were enslaved, “Massa” placed his Caucasian woman on a pedestal. She was spoiled, revered and angelic, while the Black slave woman was overworked, beaten, raped and farmed out like cattle to be mated. She was nothing and neither was our Black man. As slavery died for the greater good of America, and the movement for equality sputtered to life, the White woman was on the cover of every American magazine. She was the dazzling jewel on every movie screen, the glory of every commercial and television show. She was unequivocally the standard of beauty for this country, firmly unattainable to anyone not of her race. We daughters of the dust were seen as ugly, nappy mammies, good for day work and unwanted children, while our men were thought to be thieving, sex-hungry animals with limited brain capacity.

We reflect on this awful past and recall that if a Black man even looked at a White woman, he would have been lynched, beaten, jailed or shot to death. In the midst of this, Black women and Black men struggled together, mourned together, starved together, braved the hoses and vicious police dogs and died untimely on southern back roads together. These harsh truths lead to what we really feel when we see a seemingly together brother with a Caucasian woman and their children. That feeling is betrayed. While we exert efforts to raise our sons and daughters to appreciate themselves and respect others, most of us end up doing this important work alone, with no fathers or like representatives, limited financial support (often court-enforced) and, on top of everything else, an empty bed. It’s frustrating and it hurts!

Our minds do understand that people of all races find genuine love in many places. We dig that the world is full of amazing options. But underneath, there is a bite, no matter the ointment, that has yet to stop burning. Some may find these thoughts to be hurtful. That is not my intent. I’m just sayin’.


Now after reading this article i absolutely get where jill scott is coming from, i sometimes feel the pinch too, and from previous discussion i have had with friends i realised they also share similar same views on this inter-racial topic. I just dont get why there is a big fuss about this article with people calling Jill Scott a racist, i dont see anything racist in this article. I feel that black woman are not currently being sought after by other races of men at the same rate that black "brothers" are seeking other races of women. This obviously then leaves black women with out men at all especially if we only want black men. dont get me wrong i am all for love, happiness and family i just feel that sometimes other women are being given a choice on who to love and we many times are just picking up the left overs. we should never be so naive to think that we are equal.

Black people in general are not seen as equal in the society we live in. i find that we have to struggle five times as hard and continue to have to prove ourselves, be it in an interview for a job or just chances in life. The evidence of this shows in the statistics of black people still living in poverty, dying from simple treatable illness than whites people. Its is obvious that black people have a history of being treated unfairly and suppressed, and all this can be traced back to slavery. The media also have a huge part to play,in my opinion brainwashing black brothers into thirst for the white sisters and fundamentally rejecting the black sister.

Now I don't want to be seen as a "HATER" on love or mixed relationships, but this are my views and opinions on this very sensitive issue. Obviously me being in a black relationship my opinions will differ, I just find it really fascinating how interracial relationship works.

Clash of the Titans

My boyfriend and I went to see this movie (clash of the titans) last night, and I must say at first i thought its definitely going to be a guys movie with all the action and graphics, But the movie was so much better than i anticipated it to be.I firstly don't know much about Greek mythology and am not really an action movie fan either, but this movie did it all for me. Secondly the movie wasn't to long which tends to bore me when a movie just drags on. I saw it in 3D and It was so captivating enough to keep anyone interested. If you don't have a solid understanding of Greek mythology don't worry!!!! its all explained clearly.

The Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 film also clash of the titans. This remake is very loosely based upon the Greek myth of Perseus. Its Directed by Louis Leterrier who also directed the likes of ( the incredible hulk, transporter 1&2) it also stared Sam Worthington who was in Avatar and terminator salvation. The film was originally set for standard release on March 26, 2010. It was later announced that the film would be converted to 3-D and was released on April 2, 2010.

Its is set in the Greek city of Argos where a war is about to explode between man and the gods. Perseus (Sam Worthington) raised as a fisherman, but is actually a demi-god. Perseus is the son of Zeus (Liam Neeson) who is about to take on the gods after the death of his family. Zeus' brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) was the one who kill his family, and Perseus wants to kill him. However, it is Perseus's destiny to rescue the city of Argos from the ruthless rage of Hades and his Kraken monster. With nothing to lose, Perseus leads a band of soldiers on a quest to defeat the Kraken. In doing this, Perseus will prevent Hades from overthrowing Zeus and in turn destroying mankind.


The movie also had Gemma Arterton who plays Lo, she has been in movies like Quantum of Solace, St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold, Rock and Roller just to name a few . Her character Lo in the movie seemingly serves only two purposes: to arouse men and to provide Perseus with all the necessary back-story. I think the casting directors could have found someone better looking and slimmer for the role she played as an ageless seductive half god half man.Nevertheless, i liked her in the other movies i have seen her in but didn't think she fitted into this role. overall i think its a good movie, it wasn't all over the place, and definitely recommend it.

Eva Marcille and Lance Gross call it quits !!!!

ANTM winner/ actress Eva Marcille Pigford (25) has spilt with her fiance Lance Gross(28) just five months to there July 17 wedding. Another couple bites the dust, It is so disappointing. During Superbowl reports of a fight surfaced, and rumors have been circulating that the couple were growing apart. Essence.com finds out the couple have called off their engagement, and are parting ways “amicably”. It's so sad as they look so good together. According to the joint statement released “Lance Gross and Eva Marcille have mutually decided to end their relationship. The split is completely amicable,” Last month the blogosphere buzzed that Marcille and Gross, who had been together for nearly three years, were on the rocks, due to an alleged argument between the two during Super Bowl XLIV weekend in Miami.The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve 2008, while vacationing with family in the San Bernardino Mountains outside of Los Angeles, after dating for a year and a half.

I absolutely don't agree that they seperated amicable, people are never in a relationship for years plan to get married and a few months before the wedding they call it quits and it's all smiles and rosey. It's all a real shame and I wonder how much money was spent on the wedding plans....

Kim Kardashian has spilt from her NFL player boyfriend Reggie Bush for the second time. The pair Who have been dating since 2007 mutually agreed to part ways and to keep the reasons for the separation private and out of the tabloids. But the Internet is buzzing that the main reason for the break up was kim fame and busy schedule. This is said to been an ongoing conflict for the couple who reunited last august after a quick break up. Apparently Reggie is a subtle type and has trouble with the spotlight, and as we all know kim loves this attention Which is what she is partly famous for and off course her sex tape with pathetic Ray J. They had just recently gone on holiday to Costa ricato celebrate Reggie winning the Superbowl. You know how some people say that “there are no bad questions except the ones you don’t ask.” They’re wrong. This is a bad question. There’s something overly self-deprecating, if not desperate, about this question. Better questions: How do you keep it interesting? How do you two create a healthy relationship?

If you’re constantly having to tap dance in order to keep his attention, you might have a problem. Reinventing the relationship years down the road to keep it fresh is alright. Running around acting like he’s your last shot at a good life…well, that’ll make you tired. And if anything, it’ll be obvious to him. If you’re being anything but YOURSELF when you’re in a relationship, the real you will eventually be exposed.

Now, am I saying to walk into a relationship screaming “This is me, hear me roar?!” Not at all. That’ll get you left too.

Ultimately, being with someone is a CHOICE. Your choice and his choice. You can stay or you can leave. If you’re crying out (even internally), “Please don’t leave me! You’re the best I’ll ever do!” or “I’ll never meet anyone else,” I honestly don’t think you’re ready to be in a relationship, much less a healthy one.

Several years back, I was dating this painter. Mind you, I don’t have a clue about painting or art. But he was passionate about art. I mean REALLY passionate. He kept dropping names of artists throughout the centuries and I would nod my head as if I knew who in the world he was talking about. I found myself at work googling artwork and artists so that I could seem more “refined” in conversations with him about the subject. I didn’t have time to be doing all that! I was working crazy corporate hours. And honestly, it was wearing me out.

I was so busy googling and pretending, that I didn’t even take the time to realize that we had absolutely nothing in common except our first mutual attraction and our pseudo conversations on art. So, I found the audacity to break up with him because I was feeling silly (and because he was a little too “passionate”). At the end of the day, it would’ve just been nice to learn about art from him. None of us will ever come to the table knowing everything about everything. We won’t EVER be every single thing that another person wants us to be. It’s just so much easier and less dramatic just to be yourself. What’s even more ironic, your partner is most likely looking for you to be you as well. If not, he or she should be.

You know how men talk about them feeling “tricked” into dating a woman? Whether she played it too cool in the beginning or acted like certain things didn’t bother her? Well, purposely “liking” the things that he likes, doing things the way he likes them done and not showing more of YOU is a bad recipe for a relationship.

Tyler Perry's movie WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO

To all the fans of Tyler perry's why did I get married the wait is over, the sequel is coming out in April 2010 in cinemas near you called why did i get married too. I watched the previous why did i get married and i loved every minute of it, i am so excited to see this one. The movie is about this four couples who reunite for their annual vacation in order to socialize and to spend time analyzing their marriages. Their intimate week in the Bahamas is disrupted by the arrival of an ex-husband determined to win back his recently remarried wife.

This is a movie is a must see, as the cast includes ( Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tyler perry, Sharon Leal, Malik Yoba, Tasha smith, Richard T Jones and many more) I definitely recommend this movie for couples out there.

This is the hideous parasite, that Sandra bullock's husband Jesse James cheated with. The Internet is buzzing with this story and i just had to write up on it. According to reports the affair lasted for a year, during when Sandra was filming the movie Blind side which she recently won an Oscar for. Sandra is one of my favorite actresses in Hollywood and its so sad to have to read such a thing about her marriage.

she has got strong features , and needs to soften her look. This short wig didn't do her any good unfortunately. It makes her look much older than she really is, i think she looks so much better with longer hair. I have just been able to watch the Telephone video featuring Beyonce, after months of waiting fans were able to watch this ridiculous video which was premiered by the E channel. I totally don't see the point of the existence of this video or the song itself. Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous attention seeking fashion statements, but this video goes beyond attention seeking. it's bordering on a clear case of mental instability.

The whole video is pointless and full of cringing ,pain full moments,for example seeing Lady Gaga stripped naked in her cell block and using her video to propagate her " I'm not a man woman agenda". Also the ugly site of seeing Gaga trying to dance with her size zero figure and trampy looking hair and makeup. I am sick and tired of people portraying madness as art.

Beyonce is known for chart topping hits and bootylicious body, but featuring in this video along side CRAZY GAGA is a huge mistake, with the bad fringe, forcefully dancing and pointless swearing all showing that she is starting to loose the plot, as to what music collaboration should be and what music really is. This video also shows how unattractive CRAZY GAGA really is with the outrageously bleached hair ugly make up that empathises her beastly features and bony body. This video is nine minutes twenty nine seconds waste of time.

Now Jimmy choo is set to collaborate on a new collection with UGG Australia.

This high branded shoemakers have joined forces with the sheepskin footwear brand, who have indeed encouraged bad walking posture with its customer. The brand Uggs has been up and running since the 70'S and has only become popular in recent years.

Ever since the brand(UGG) has become popular, I have noticed that Uggs is usually worn on a daily basis by short women with thick frame and chunky legs,who seem not to get there right size and tend to wall on sheepskin and not the actual sole of the ridiculous design and ugly styled boots.

There are so many problems with the structure of this footwear. Uggs have been linked to the risk of ankle sprain, lower back pain, bad posture and foot fungal due to the wet environment created, even with all this alarming risks it seems the sales of this awful products are not affected.

celebrities have also helped with the craziness of this repulsive products with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Natalie Portman,and Pixie Geldof wearing Ugg's and showing there lack of style and creativity.

As for buying this new collaboration which will be out in October, the hideous boots is said to cost between £495-£695 a pair. There will be five different designs in multiple colour variation, With a £695 price tag you may not be able to afford any heating.
